Step 2 – Before your session
You’ll receive a pre-shoot questionnaire. This is to help me cater your photo session to best reflect your unique family. You’ve probably looked over my website if you’ve come this far, so you will have an essence of my style. After filling out the questionnaire, I will get be in contact within a few days to answer any questions and discuss your session in more detail.
Think about the location you may like to be photographed in. May be at home, a special place the family visit, or even an event. This could include going to play at the park, a visit to the library or art gallery, and a visit to the cafe to finish off. Keep in mind the things you enjoy with your family.
Think about your own style – Creative, Fine Art, Monochrome, Modern.
Bring along anything that tells us about your family – you may have a favourite tricycle, or toy for the children, even a pet you may love to be photographed with.
When deciding on what to wear, think about where the wall art is to be displayed. The colour and design of your clothing should compliment this area. Need ideas – check out my checklist.
Often I meet with families to check out their location, this is also an opportunity for me to show you some sample products so you can start thinking about how you would like your art work displayed.
