My Mission Statement: To document family stories in an emotive & creative way. Then to tangibly preserve those memories to treasure for now & future generations.
I live in the beautiful region of Wellington with my wonderful hubby and our two gorgeous boys. And to be honest, I feel extremely lucky to have these three blokes! We love exploring outdoor activities of the Upper Hutt region, where we live, and the amazing buzz of Wellington.
Deciding early on in life that photography was the road for me, I secured an after-school job at a photographic studio. After spending a few years working at the studio it was time for an adventure! Joining the Royal New Zealand Air Force, I became a Defence Photographer. It was the adventure I'd been looking for.
Now, many years later, I concentrate my focus on capturing emotion within families, and have been for over five years. We all have a story, and my aim in every photo session is to capture a little bit of yours.
It's a privilege to document families so I want to preciously preserve your beautiful photographs with quality products that last a lifetime and beyond. I have a real passion for printed work and love to share that. Holding a quality photograph or album in your hands brings real joy that grows with time, especially when it's of the people you love. Imagine in generations to come, your family can peek inside their family history, visually seeing where they are from, knowing you had also turned the pages or held the photographs. What a treat, and not to be taken lightly.
Over the past five years, I've also enjoyed photographing for different businesses, the PGG Wrightson Lifestyle magazine, Beef & Lamb, Hawke's Bay A & P Show, Central Hawke's Bay A & P Show, the New Zealand Defence Force, Positive Speaker's Bureau, Positive Women's Inc, and Trentham Camp Golf Course. I enjoy lifestyle photography in all it's forms. So if you think I could assist you with your brand please flick me an email.
Enjoying the simple pleasures in life, you'll see me sharing photographs on my social media channels that are part of our life. So if you'd like to see a little bit more of my photographic journey follow me on social media. It's important to gel with your photographer when they are getting up close and personal in your life.
So sit back with a nice cup of tea (or a cheeky glass of wine!), and enjoy checking out my website – I hope to meet you soon!
