Happy Birthday To You!!
Gorgeous birthday girl :-)
Laura's birthday party was such fun and so stylish, it had a real ambiance to it! Held in The Games Room at Foxglove, Laura invited guests to 'A Longest Lunch & a Little Cake' to celebrate her birthday.
If you haven't seen the Games Room, it reminds you of a modern hunting room. There's nooks and crannies in every corner, places to join in the action and areas to sit quietly to chat with friends not seen in a long time, giving a warm cosy feel to the venue. Ornaments and ornamental traditionally hunted animal heads are displayed both on cabinets and walls intertwined with books inviting to be browsed over.
Mixing and mingling and with much food to graze on and wine to drink, the party was a buzz with chat and laughter.
Speeches began and guests had a great time telling stories of how they met, journey's traveled together, and all up it was an entertaining afternoon for all! The candles were blown out and the longest lunch no doubt rolled into the longest dinner.
Part of meeting family and friends in one location, it's a must to include a few family groups. So seldom are all the family and good friends in one location. We popped outdoors and had photographs on the Wellington waterfront. Although I capture formal shots I really do love capturing the cuddly photos where everyone hugs and laughs! These guys were such a happy bunch and the smiles and laughs were frequent making my job very easy. I guess this was just as well as I had to position myself across the waterfront over a space of water! This created the beautiful blue muted background making family photos 'pop'.
And to wrap it all up, Laura received a beautiful fine art album of her birthday photos, along with the high resolution images for her to keep for prosperity.
If you have a family or friends event you'd like photographed, I'd love to hear from you! Please email me via the link or at email@example.com
